Stucco Walls Overlapping And Adhered to Roofing To Be Replaced

The insurance carrier has made payment to replace the modified bitumen flat roofing.  As is common the stucco parapet walls and wall caps were installed subsequently to the roofing and are overlapping and adhered to the flat roofing.

When removing the flat roofing the stucco will be damaged around the entire perimeter of the roof.

What should the insurance carrier do?

Answer this poll below

The insurance company should replace the stucco too since it is adhered to the damaged roofing
The insurer only owes for the damaged item. If something else gets in the way it is just too bad.
The insurer should pay to do a patch job on the stucco. Since it is on the roof nobody will notice.
