These are pictures of a rooftop air conditioning system that a contractor has miserably Rigged. In my opinion this is an act of Vandalism on the part of the contractor.
Van dal ism Noun:
Action involving deliberate destruction of or damage to public or private property. When someone knows that they will be causing damage to the property of another and choose to do it anyway then it is a form of Vandalism regardless of the motive.
This is no different than a tenant of a rental home that without permission of the landlord decides to knock out a few walls. There does not have to be malice involved to qualify for Vandalism. If there is malice then it would be a form of malicious mischief instead. To qualify for Vandalism someone only has to knowingly and willingly cause damage to the property of another. I believe there should be coverage under this person home owners policy for the damage the contractor caused to this air conditioning system.
